El Seprona encuentra cientos de cadáveres de animales en Monte Zarzuela

Os traemos una historia bastante peculiar que ha tenido lugar en El Casar, Guadalajara, concretamente en la urbanización Monte Zarzuela, un lugar muy popular en el municipio debido a que se trataba del espacio donde se había proyectado la construcción de una urbanización que finalmente quedó parada, y que ahora ha aumentado el interés por parte tanto de autóctonos como de foráneos precisamente tras el descubrimiento de cientos de cadáveres de animales por parte del Seprona.

La asociación Amores Peludos decidió interponer una denuncia ante el Seprona tras hallar restos de animales en unos terrenos pertenecientes a la urbanización Monte Zarzuela, la cual se encuentra ubicada en el municipio de El Casar en Guadalajara.

Desde el primer momento, el Servicio de Protección de la Naturaleza de la Guardia Civil, decidió trasladarse al lugar de los hechos con el objetivo de observar si se trataba realmente de un caso que requiriese de investigación, y al llegar pudieron hallar numerosos restos, principalmente óseos, de cientos de animales en lo que parecía haberse convertido en un cementerio de animales ilegal.

Hay que partir de la base de que esta zona pertenece a una urbanización que a día de hoy se encuentra todavía en construcción, debido a que se vio obligada tras la crisis a interrumpir su avance.

Es por ello que, hasta el momento, tan sólo se habían construido las carreteras así como el sistema de alcantarillado, lo que al parecer ha sido el lugar elegido por cientos de personas para deshacerse de sus animales domésticos de una forma rápida y económica, introduciéndolos por las diferentes aberturas de dicho alcantarillado, y en algunas ocasiones, ni tan siquiera molestándose en ello, dejando los cuerpos de los animales al aire o en sacos.

Varios miembros del Seprona se han encargado de sacar y reunir todos los restos óseos, los cuales han aparecido en muy diferentes estados tanto en el interior del alcantarillado como en bolsas, sacos, envueltos en telas, etc.

El Seprona investiga la procedencia de los cadáveres de animales

Según las informaciones obtenidas hasta el momento, no se observa maltrato animal en este caso, es decir, los restos encontrados hasta el momento parecen proceder de animales fallecidos antes de llegar a este destino.

Esto hace pensar al Seprona que realmente se trata de una utilización ilegal del espacio como cementerio animal, pero igualmente ha abierto una investigación con el objetivo de esclarecer los hechos, además de que hace hincapié en la importancia que tiene el cumplir con la legislación en materia de sanidad animal.

En este sentido, los propietarios de animales domésticos están obligados a eliminar los cadáveres de sus mascotas de la forma que ya ha sido establecida, entre las que destaca la incineración.

Además, también se debe comunicar su fallecimiento de forma oficial.

Cabe destacar que estas exigencias tienen como objetivo evitar que estos animales muertos puedan suponer un riesgo para la salud pública e incluso también para el medio ambiente y, muy especialmente, para otros animales, de manera que aquellos que las incumplan, se pueden ver condenados a sanciones de hasta 3000 €.

El Seprona ya ha advertido que va a cursar las denuncias oportunas basándose en los chips localizados en este cementerio animal ilegal, de manera que aquellas personas que hayan tirado los restos de sus mascotas en este lugar, es posible que en las próximas semanas reciban una sorpresa en sus buzones.
